Management

The Benchmark Training team is led by John Gorman, who brings years of consultative experience in the federal training arena to his role of company president. Mr. Gorman is in charge of the sales and marketing responsibilities, as well as curriculum development and trainer recruitment. For more than five years, he spearheaded the sales and marketing for a training firm in the Washington, DC area where he created and developed dozens of accounts at government agencies and corporations to become the firm's top salesperson year after year. His focus on the needs of his customers continues to drive his work at Benchmark Training.

Prior to his career in training and development, he earned a degree in English from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. He is a member of the Notre Dame Alumni Association of Washington, DC and the Notre Dame Technology Forum, and he's a regular at the Training Officers Conference. His interests include golf and traveling.
