Andre van der Bergh

Prior to embarking on a career as a facilitator in the area of team dynamics, business acumen, and continuous improvement, Andre van der Bergh was intimately involved in the retail industry in South Africa and the Middle East for more than 25 years, specializing in process re-engineering and automation. He was known as a consensus builder who could work closely and effectively with brand managers, operations managers, suppliers, and executive teams.

In 1998, Andre began implementing Team Business programs, including TEAM Simulation, for his retail clients with tremendous results - for example, one of his clients took 6,000 staff through the program as a part of a successful turn-around

initiative. Andre is certified to facilitate all the programs in the Team Business portfolio and is the primary facilitator in the United States. He began partnering with Benchmark Training in 2003, and his simulation has been recognized as one of only four Benchmark Select™ programs.

Recent clients include the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, SA Breweries, Montgomery College, GlowPoint, Johns Hopkins' Carey School of Business, Webster University, Girls in Technology, and GSI International.
